This notice explains how Kazzicom Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. It does not cover personal data we process on behalf of clients, which is governed by our agreements with those clients.

Kazzicom Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company no. 06102229) and with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration Z2919821). Our registered office is 25 Clarendon Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1QZ.

What we collect

Enquiries: if you email or call us, or use the enquiry form, we receive your name, contact details, organisation and the content of your message. Form enquiries are recorded as tickets in our support desk system (Freshdesk), together with the date, time and IP address of the submission so we can identify misuse.
Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. To prevent spam, the enquiry form temporarily records a one-way coded version of your IP address for up to one hour. Submissions our filters identify as spam are logged (name, email, the start of the message, IP address and browser type) so we can check that no genuine enquiry was blocked, and these logs are deleted after two months.
Security check: the enquiry form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are a person. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information for this purpose under its own privacy policy.
Fonts: this site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it and why

To respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, provide a quote or services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To keep the website secure and running. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, related records are kept for the life of the engagement and up to six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider.

How we keep it safe

Kazzicom Ltd is certified under the UK government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme for the whole organisation, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep risks to a minimum.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our email, hosting and support-desk providers, under appropriate data processing terms. Where any provider processes data outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact dpo@kazzicom.com. We will respond within one month, as required by UK data protection law.
